Rev. Tony Christie is the senior pastor of Sherwood Forest Baptist Church. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from Shorter College in Rome, GA, he began his graduate work at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and completed his Master of Divinity degree at Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, GA. Pastor Tony and his wife Lesha have two boys, Joseph and Jared, and a daughter, Joy. Before accepting his call to SFBC, Pastor Tony served as pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Augusta, GA, for fifteen years and prior to that he served for almost ten years as pastor of First Baptist Church in Lyerly, GA.
